Carole N. Harrod

Carole Novak Harrod is an experienced trial attorney, having represented clients on both sides of lawsuits in nearly 100 jury trials in Texas. Carole has been Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 2009. Carole is a Life Member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum©, Top Trial Lawyers in America© and has been recognized as obtaining for her clients a Top 50 Texas trucking accident verdict and a Top 100 United States Wrongful Death verdict. As a past President of American Board of Trial Advocates – Corpus Christi chapter, Carole believes strongly in her clients’ rights to have a jury decide disputes but also realizes the benefit of reaching a settlement without trial. Carole has been a trained certified mediator since 1993, prior to attending law school, and retrained in 2021.
Carole has lived her life in south and central Texas. Raised in Pleasanton, Texas, Carole graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Journalism and worked as a television journalist prior to making the decision to attend law school after reporting on several large trials. At the University of Houston Law Center, Carole ranked in the top 10% of her class and was invited to membership with the University of Houston Law Review and Order of the Coif. After graduating cum laude, Carole started her career as a personal injury trial attorney, representing individuals and companies involved in lawsuits.

Carole has continued her career, taking pride in an individualized and personal approach with her clients and helping both individuals and companies successfully navigate the legal system during what, for most, is a stressful and daunting experience.

Carole enjoys spending her free time with her husband of more than 30 years, Marc, and, whenever possible, her two adult daughters, Abby and Emma.
